OK then - the answer was 'Sirius' A Port Authority bomb dog. [smile]

On the same topic different question:

All the handlers of 9/11 said their dogs played another important role apart from searching..... What was this role to their human searchers?

Was it a theraputic effort? i.e. the rescuers could pet or play with the dogs when not searching for a bit of a release?
