Hello,

my name is Ira and my dog is called Ari, he is a Bernese Mountain Dog, 2 years and 4 months old. I`ve been working with my dogs in K9 SAR since 1998, my older dogs died now. Ari and the other dogs works/worked in area and rubble search.

Sorry, my English is not so good, I hope to improve it by the time...

I am a Swiss ex-pat in the UK just sarted in search and rescue here with a cross breed rescue but I have a VERY soft spot for Bernese Mountain dogs! Please let us know of his progress? By the way your English is pretty good;-) so welcome to the forum!

Ari and I are living in northern Germany, the land is Schleswig-Holstein, the town Ratzeburg. It's near to Hamburg, Lübeck and the Baltic Sea.

Oh, a Swiss ex-pat! You may help me to find the right words?

Ari has got the permission to take part in the examinations for area and for rubble this autumn. He passed the pre-exams in June.

We're training obedience on the side. He passed "Beginner" and in a few weeks we'll try to pass "Obedience 1".
