We have recently trialed the Fenix L2D CE Premium Q5 LED Torch.
Not much larger than a mini maglite, but as powerful as a Survivor II!![[cool]](./images/smilies/cool.gif "Cool")
The main advantages that I found with this torch is the ability to switch between strengths - from 10 lumens for map reading to 100 lumens for normal use upto 180 lumens to use as a spotlight!
As you can tell - I liked it!
