This is an unfortunate sale of a lovely teddy bear faced German Shepherd.

He is a two year old rescue who is looking for a new family who can teach him but more than anything to give him love and attention.

Reasons for sale is change of career, family have already two pet dogs. Unfortunately must go to good loving home.

If it helps, I had a walk yesterday with this GSD and my 3 dogs, 1 male and 2 females, and he was fine with all of them

What a pity Kish, he has such a beautiful soul, I really love him, but my two would probably eat him.

He is a lovely soul and it is heart breaking but I want him to have a better life. If I had my own place I wouldn't be putting him through this trust me. I'm looking for a safe, comfy home with new loving parents or parent.

Good news he is nolonger for sale. To cut a long story short I was really done over by two humans who shall not be named unless asked for. I will be keeping him because there is more of a story behind him than I knew and selling him could do more damage than good. He is too much of a sweet heart anyway.

Maybe after some obedience training if he is allowed I hope he can actually come train with us.

Hope everyone is well and I wish I could have attended the training Tuesday it sounded fun.

Kish I am so pleased to hear you are keeping Neptune and that you have been able to find out a bit more of his background, I am sure that will help considerably with his future. If it is any encouragement I took Kasha on at 14 months, she had never been socialised with other dogs (she lived with a Doberman who had a very bad temperament, both with people and dogs and could not be trusted) or with numbers of people - when I first took her to obedience training she was a shrinking violet, totally unable to concentrate on her training because she was so worried about the people and dogs around her. Taking her to agility was the key to unlocking the real dog beneath and whilst her obedience is still not great, having some formal training has also improved her confidence and I can honestly say she is now a wonderful ambassador for the breed, because not only does she get on well with all dogs (the trainer at obedience classes now uses her as a stooge dog for all the dogs who come in flying at others because she does not re-act), but is also very good with people and children. You will need a lot of patience and don't be allowed to "push" him by people who think they know best, of which unfortunately there are too many!

this is brilliant news!!!! and as Linda says choose professional help for his education/socialisation/training with care... he should be treated as a rescue (which he is) and not typified as a GSD, firm training yes harsh training a no-no!
My 3 are already looking to their next walk with Neptune!
