car tailgate lock bar ?

hello guys

just a quick one and some people may think i am mad

but anyone know where you get the car tailgate lock bars that allow you to lock the car tailgate down but without fully closing it

i have a few friends who have them but havent managed to catch up with them to find out where they got them

anyone have any ideas ?

Hi Shane,
They are commonly known as a Venlock as per the company that produces them, there are various other companies that sell them including 'Mary Ray'etc. You can quite often pick them up at a dog show also, I seem to recall that mine are made by 'Doggie Needs' but I might be wrong, they work wonders and come in a variry of lengths depending on your need, Mark Lambden obtained mine for me from an Agility show so it might be worth having a chat with him.
