I am just getting started down the K9-SAR path and do not have a dog yet.
My wife and I are going to do this together with the thought of separating our dogs in age by 8-10 months.
We are still in the process of settling on a breed (Giant Schnauzers are at the top of our list) and looking for breeders.

We have worked with a local team briefly and we are looking forward to working with them more. We have found a couple of reading lists, and have been devouring books on various subjects.

From what I gather we are doing things a little different because we don't have a dog yet.

I want to learn from this group because frankly, I don't know what I don't know.
