A search and rescue dog tracking the 25-year-old LaCrosse followed a scent from the bar to the railing of the State Street Bridge over Kenduskeag Stream.

Steve DeWitt, LaCrosse's brother-in-law, says the family is happy to have some closure.

The autopsy was being conducted Sunday by the state medical examiner's office in Augusta. Results were not expected to be released until Monday.
