For those that asked me to let you know the dates for this course in 2012 they are 13th May to 19th May. Full details will be on the web site soon. It will accomodate air scent and man trailing dogs.

It may help you to know that the Rabies controls are being simplified from Jan 2012, for full details see http://www.defra.gov.uk/wildlife-pets/pets/travel/

Here's something new from this location in france, can't go myself due to Olympics:

24-26 August Mantrailing Seminar with Gabriella Trautmann from Mantrailing Europe.

For beginners (level 1) and intermediate (level 2). The purpose of the seminar is to provide individual advice per dog team, to start or continue to build your foundation in mantrailing and to tackle problems that you and your dog as a team may have at the moment. The seminar starts on Friday evening with theory, and on Saturday and Sunday practical training. Price of the seminar including coffee/tea/ simple lunch €245 per dog team.

Mantrailing has a web site but its in German only, they work with Alun Williams from the UK who is well known in trailing circles.

Its a combined SAR area and mantrailing week, so we're booked. Unfortunately both of us need some weight loss before we go.

Another excellent week in Guise.

Ella converted to man trailing or man hunting. (she's not sexist at all as all the mispers were female) [dry]
